  1. Defective – unfit for use 
  2. Over-production – made in excess 
  3. Waiting- waiting for an email response 
  4. Non-Used Talent – waste of human potential 
  5. Transportation – excessive movement of materials 
  6. Inventory – materials that are unprocessed 
  7. Motion- unnecessary movement by people 
  8. Extra-Processing – doing more work than is required
